FAQ
Honest answers.
Is this just WhatsApp with extra steps?+
No. WhatsApp gives you a name. Delegate gives you an operating process: item review, traveler reward, manual review, partner hubs, and documented handoff records.
Who sets the price?+
The sender suggests a traveler reward. During the pilot, Delegate Ops confirms the total manually before coordination. Hub compensation is also handled manually.
Can I send anything?+
No. Delegate only allows approved, documented items. No mystery packages, prohibited goods, or items travelers cannot inspect before accepting.
Do travelers have to accept the sender's reward?+
No. During the pilot, travelers can agree or decline after reviewing the request details with Delegate Ops.
Do travelers pay out of pocket?+
No traveler should be forced to pay out of pocket. Pilot payments are handled manually until live payment rails are ready.
Where are you opening first?+
Seattle → Addis Ababa and Toronto → Addis Ababa.
What does a Hub do?+
A Delegate Hub is a reviewed community pickup point. Hubs help record intake, store packages temporarily, and record handoff. Hubs do not handle money, open packages, or resolve disputes.
How fast is delivery?+
Delegate is built around people already flying, so approved pilot items may move faster than freight. Timing is confirmed case by case during manual coordination.
